A Week in Pinterest. Let’s go stand on a rock. Teetering on a mountain. And then maybe we’ll paint it on a sign.

19 Dec

A slight variation of this week in Pinterest:

This one is called “Private Pool Suite at Mykonos Blu Resort”

Really? Cuz my caption would read: How to drown (in a drunken accident, going to the bathroom in the middle of the night, etc.) in less than twenty-four hours.

Pinterest started as an online pinboard. A great resource for home decor, baking ideas and now? How to make young girls even more self loathing and insignificant feeling by having several thousand “get skinny” pins.

Aspire higher. Douche.

Ah. The reemergence of child stars. Cuz Bravo didn’t do enough of that when Kim Richards was exhumed from the set of Escape to Witch Rehab.

Oh good. Joey Lawrence is still alive. Yet we lost Steve Jobs.

Sometimes blah blah blah. No. Sometimes smoking crack is a terrible idea.

Nope. You simply have horrible judgement. Painting it on a fucking sign doesn't make it okay.

And then there’s the “healthy, quick and easy” dinner ideas.

Kids, dinner time. Mommy made heart attack casserole again.

The homage to Love….

You both actually deserve to fall to your death.

And finally. The Atheists and God Squad pins. Because just when you thought the entire world wasn’t batshit crazy…

Awesome. Pinterest even made Hermione an Atheist.

Yes Hermione there is a God.

    It’s Joey Lawrence. Yum.

Thank you for finally pointing out the ridiculousness of the “signs.” They remind me of the bumper stickers that were all over Facebook for 6 months, but way more annoying because people post them about THEMSELVES. If I have to see one more motivational poster about “dancing in the rain” or something equally as lame, I’m leaving.

I just laughed so hard at the two people on the rock. Mostly because I would have written something lame about Love being like a rock. Then I read your caption and it couldn’t be better. Love this one!
