Who are we and should you care?

We are just some working mothers-slash-writers who are keeping it real. We enjoy our kids, wine, leotards, green tea and more wine.

Our posts will run the gamut from how to find the perfect nanny who does not have a neck tattoo and who will not seduce your husband to how to avoid wanting to stab said husband in the neck when he leaves the fucking toilet seat up. Again.

We encourage witty banter and advice from all readers.

Oh and buy our first book Fifty Reasons to Elope. We’re in the process of drinking writing our second.

Just discovered this blog from a friend that posted on FB this a.m. Addicted. Needed a good laugh. Sent it to my buddies from college and told them to put on their adult Depends. Did all of that between drinking a Pacifico before noon plus watching Bait Car for four hours while I caught up on work, filling out miscellaneous school forms for the kids, eating a ripe and juicy pear (not sure you needed to know that) dishes, bills, administering a salve to my dogs vagina, and other super interesting things that are part of my life. I’d love to see a blog about parenting teenagers just because it’s so fun and exciting! I think you bitches are way younger than me so just wait – legos turn into bongs and “I hate you’s” from six year olds turn into “I hate you’s” from 15 year olds and that is much more meaningful.:) PS I forgot to add laundry – knew I forgot something important.

    • Julia Tagliere September 6, 2013 at 11:50 am #

Actually, I liked hearing about the juicy pear, but I REALLY didn’t need to know about the dog’s vagina. Just sayin’…:)

  12. Courtney September 4, 2013 at 10:35 pm #

I think you might be my sister’s and I’s comic twins. I think I just fucked up the use of the apostrophe there … Anyways love your stuff.

    • Michelle Harmon September 4, 2013 at 10:42 pm #

Ha! Ha! I have no “stuff” but I do have material… lots of it. If you ever need a ghost writer on teen stuff drama let me know… I could write volumes… You guys are awesome. Can’t want to see your next post and pee my adult Depends thong version (sorry that’s not been invented yet but I swear I was going to patent that!)

  13. Gricelda September 4, 2013 at 11:35 pm #

    Pinterest was hilarious!!

Just wanted you to know your blog is still REALLY UBER relevant here in Shanghai, China. The bitchy expats here are RE-Effing- DONKULOUS clawing for identity because we all look alike in our Tom’s wedges and blond bobs. Please keep me self doubting- love it…

  15. Brooke Schmidt September 5, 2013 at 3:36 am #

    So excited to find this!

  16. Brooke Schmidt September 5, 2013 at 4:11 am #

I just read the Mother’s Day post and proceeded to insist that my “exhausted” husband listen as I re-read it aloud to him. As he begrudgingly humored me I read, laughing out loud, tears streaming down my face and clenching so I don’t wet the bed (yes the kids haven’t made their way in yet). I finish and say “ok just one more” to which he replies “I just dont think it’s as funny as you obviously do” no fucking kidding because you aren’t a mom!

  17. Colleen September 5, 2013 at 4:49 am #

Here I am staring at the ‘supply list’ from school trying to delay the fact that summer is truly over, then happened upon YOUR BLOG, sent to me from another mom in the same space of denial. Your back-to-school post had me in tears!!!! So f-ing funny. Cheers to school, Amanda Bynes at the bus stop and the wine that accompanies all things Fall.

  18. lilu jael September 5, 2013 at 1:11 pm #

You are down to earth and tell it like it is! More people need to do this.

  21. K.Coustic September 6, 2013 at 2:03 am #

Wha what? A blog I can actually relate to? And with all my favorite swear words? Dear God, Thanks for answering my prayers. Still waiting for Adam Levine to dump the model he’s with though and look up this hot mom of two who has gray hair at age 36. Love, K.

  22. boldsparrow September 6, 2013 at 2:04 am #

Uh…hate to follow up after Capt. Buzzkill up there, but I’ll continue with the adoration. It’s nice to see moms who drink, curse, and make fun of Pinterest. This hilarious blog has reminded me that no one is a Supermom, despite her rainbow pancake-making ways. I tried (and miserably failed) to spend 24 hours as a 1950s housewife. The pain was real. As for leotards, I’m more for yoga pants but right there with you with the wine…
P.S. I still love Pinterest. Thanks again!

  23. K.Coustic September 6, 2013 at 2:07 am #

Seriously? You can’t repost a picture someone else publicly posted? Have fun paying your attorney bill.

  24. MH September 6, 2013 at 2:42 am #

Geez oh Pete! Get a frickin sense of humor. Nobody needs your permission to do anything and if they have a picture on there that you are in – ask them nicely to take it down. Sugar, you get more with honey than you do with vinegar. You need a vinager douche. If you don’t like that get the hell off this blog and tell your attorney “on call” to call me – pronto – like NOW – cause they are on call and you have them on retainer because your a litigious bitch. Go get some anti anxiety or anti depressants or something!!! To be clear I’m only a reader not part of this blog but it disgusts me you could be so mean spirited and throw them under a bus when we all have the freedom of speech.

  25. Remington Wall September 6, 2013 at 4:37 am #

Actually it’s not okay to take people’s pictures and talk shit about them. That was very inappropriate to talk about a little girl like that. And I don’t have any attorney bills because my uncle is the attorney. Thank you for your concern, but it wouldn’t be me paying the bills. How about you “mothers” get a life; more like a damn job, get off Pinterest, and focus on YOUR kids and not someone else’s. All the time you spend talking shit about other people on this stupid blog you could be spending taking care of your kids.

  26. MH September 6, 2013 at 4:56 am #

If you don’t like it don’t subscribe the blog. Pretty simple. Have job. Take care of kids – yep. Sense of humor in tact. Where did you lose yours? I bet your uncle has a better sense of humor then you. Shut your trap.

  27. Remington Wall September 6, 2013 at 5:06 am #

I’m not subscribed to this. I don’t care about everything else you post but once you put my family into it I get pissed. The shit will be off tomorrow or you will be getting a call. Trust me it doesn’t cost me money to sue your ass. Get the shit down and go be with your family.

    • mommamarsha September 6, 2013 at 1:20 pm #

You’re lovely. Your mother must be so proud of you! There’s this thing called school that children go to; while their children are there (or during naps or while the kids are engaged in a book or such) mothers get on the computer. Just like you continue to do. So take some very deep breaths, be PROUD if indeed your children are included on this blog, and stop sounding like such a dumb ass by spouting off about an attorney on call. You have no idea how stupid and not at all threatening that makes you sound, do you, dear? Now, about those breaths . . .

  28. Knob Patrol September 6, 2013 at 8:40 am #

Ok Remington Steele. Good thing your patrolling the internet and saving poor innocent children from harmless and funny bloggers. Next time you search on “bitches” don’t get your panties in a bunch when you stumble upon something you did not expect. Your clearly not a mom – your not even a female. Your a knob. A boob actually. Sue away. By the way this is America – let freedom reign. Your not worth the time or energy to respond again which must be the reason why the bitches are not responding to you. Smartie pants!Keep writing ladies – your funny as hell. Don’t let the knob heads of the world get ya down!

  29. K.Coustic September 6, 2013 at 12:15 pm #

I’m sure your uncle is going to be super excited about taking time away from his real, paying-job (with paying customers) to exert energy going after a website that carries no sponsors. And who is actually doing the suing here, you? What exactly are you suing for? What are the charges you are pressing? Having gone to law school myself (that’s right, haha!) you have absolutely nothing of substance here. So move on. Your threats are unwarranted and unwanted on this site. Sorry that I was able to take 2 minutes to write this message – there must be a diaper somewhere in this world that needs changing and I have to get to it!

    • mommamarsha September 6, 2013 at 1:21 pm #

      Love.

  30. MH September 6, 2013 at 1:43 pm #

Very true! My dog doesn’t like it when I talk about her vagina either. Hopefully she won’t have her uncle sue me😊

  31. Marianne September 6, 2013 at 1:51 pm #

Thanks for the laugh this morning! I really do love Pinterest but it sure can make a mom feel bad about herself when she just isn’t as crafty or creative as some of the moms on there. I tried to do a “martha-stewart/pinterest-esque” 1st bday party for my son last year and FAILED MISERABLY!!
Thanks for reminding me that i don’t have to be that crafty or creative and STILL be a good mom!
Keep up the laughs and good work bitches! 😉

  32. Karista September 6, 2013 at 6:58 pm #

Just read your back to school post and I’m still laughing my ass off! I tried to be one of those crafty parents when my kids were in school and I finally gave up after 1st grade. Love your blog. Found it via my sister’s blog, she re-posted. 🙂 Happy Back To School!
